Return and Exchange Policy (SG)
If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with the product, you may return any item (except customised items) in its original condition for exchange within 7 days from delivery. We will offer you a credit note which is valid for one year (valid from the date of exchange, we will issue a receipt with valid date for record as well).
- An 100SGD pick-up fee for transport and separate fee for repackaging of furniture will be deducted from your credit note. The repacking fee is 20% of the selling price of the furniture, plus the return fee that is subjected to the area.
- If you wish to exchange the goods, please email us at email@example.com within 7 days from the date you receive the goods. We will confirm your request for a return order by email.
- Returned goods must be UNUSED and in RE-SALEABLE condition. The item must have all its original packaging. The goods are your responsibility until they reach us. We are not responsible for liabilities during the return. Alternatively, you may bring items back to our store location: 203 Henderson Park Industrial #07-01.
- An onsite inspection would be arranged on the pick up day to make sure no damage or scratches on the return items. Any defective item is INVALID to apply for Exchange policy.
Should you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours from the date you placed the order with us. We will confirm your cancellation by email. We will offer you a credit note which is valid for one year without any deduction. If you want to exchange the goods but do not return the cancelled goods to us within 5 working days, we shall be entitled not to offer any exchange of goods. Until such goods are returned to us, you are obliged to exercise all reasonable care to store the cancelled goods safely and in appropriate conditions.
Non-refundable Items: Display items, Custom items, Final sale items, delivery and assembly fees, staircase fees.
Display items: No returns or refunds are offered for any reason, including damage during transportation. The customer assumes the risk of any damage during delivery.
Customized items: No refunds, returns or replacements are granted if the item is repairable. Only replacement service is considered if it is the wrong design. No refunds are offered in any case.
- For lighting, no returns or refunds are allowed after the item has been installed.
- No refunds under any circumstances on discounted items.
- All delivery and assembly fees are NON-REFUNDABLE for any reason.
- You must keep the ORIGINAL packaging and the UNUSED item(s) if you are requesting a refund as a credit note.
Cancellation policy strictly does not apply to the following non-regular priced products:
Changes cannot be made to the following items:
Customized/Made-to-order products (sofas, mattresses, certain models of bedframes, etc)
Home accessories may be returned to our store within 7 working days after receipt of the items for exchange if they are re-boxed neatly in their original packaging. After 7 working days, no items may be exchanged. Assembled/installed items and unboxed items are not valid for replacement or refund.
All items must be signed for at the point of delivery. In signing the Delivery Order, you are acknowledging that you have received all good(s) delivered in good condition and they are in no way faulty or damaged. Non-mechanical and non-structural issues (i.e. physical damages) are only valid for return on a written notice on delivery note.
For furniture categories (standard brand new items), we provide a return guarantee for items with mechanical or structural issues. You must notify EMOH via email within 5 working days of receipt of your order. We will ask you to email a photo of the damaged goods as part of our quality assurance check. Please note it is critical that you repack the items with care and with original packaging if possible. Should you receive goods that are damaged, faulty or incorrect, we will provide you with a repair or a replacement. We reserve the right to determine the best course of action.
Door-to-door replacement is invalid for home accessories and discounted furniture items. Please note, if you are requesting an item replacement or exchange, you have an obligation to take reasonable care of any items with the original packaging while they are in your possession. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of your replacement or exchange request. We therefore recommend you to wrap your return item(s) safely and securely to avoid damage during storage and transit back to EMOH's showroom. If the items are delivered to your door and after a quick inspection you would like our delivery crew to return your items to our warehouse immediately without our approval, a $200-250 return fee will be incurred on most items.
For delivered furniture, any return item has an extra cost of $300-400 including packing, disassembly and return delivery. Returned items can only be exchanged with items of the same colour and product model in accordance with the original order. Deviation of colour and natural grains from wood and marble are invalid reasons for return / refund / replacement.
No Warranty Service
EMOH does not carry any warranty or guarantee on any of its products after the 7 day return and exchange period regardless of reason.
EMOH reserves the right to its absolute discretion to determine whether a part has failed due to a defect or wear and tear. Such replacement or repair is offered by EMOH at its sole discretion. All replacement or repair of items will depend on the next available schedule. EMOH shall not be liable for any consequences (whether direct or indirect) for the delay of the delivery of the replacement item and no such delay shall entitle the customer to invalidate this agreement. All full refunds due to defects will be refunded as follows: Purchase Price - any service fees = Refunded Amount ($$)
